Mikros Animation is looking for a Nuke Developer to joins the Paris’ Render Dev Team. Under the responsability of his lead, the Nuke Developer creates and maintains a diverse set of tools for animation production, with a focus on improving efficiency for artists and production management. He/she also work directly with TDs, artists and production management to assess needs, train, and support.
Job Description
Under the responsibility of the lead of the team, your main missions will be :
Design and Communicate pipeline architecture
Develop Compositing and Matte-Painting pipeline.
Determine, design, document and maintain re-usable code modules.
Work on road map for future pipeline
Guide and help team members and TD using your technical expertise.
Do code reviews and give productive feedback to team members and TD.
Submit your own code for code reviews.
Communicate technical issues to IT.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
2-3+ years experience as Nuke Developer in the Anim/VFX industry
2-3+ years experience with Python
Extensive knowledge of Nuke
Strong familiarity with Nuke’s Python API and writing Gizmos
Knowledge of the overall VFX or Animation pipeline
Experience with Linux
Familiarity with TCL
Strong familiarity with Git and collaborative workflows (code review, standards, etc.)
Desired qualifications:
UI development using PySide / PyQt
Experience with Regular Expressions
Experience with BlinkScript
Reasonably comfortable with Shotgun and Shotgun Toolkit (Tank)
Experience with C++
Knowledge of any/all of Mari/Maya/Houdini/Katana/Arnold is a plus
